I have three of these, they shipped quickly and build quality is good. They read tags and a good distance (about 1.2") the audio feedback is good to have but it may be a bit loud for some. The led is bright. This unit works by emulating a USB keyboard so it worked out of the box with Win7/10 and Linux. IMPORTANT NOTE: that this reader only reads the serial number of the tag not other information on them If you need to read all the data on the tag you will need to get another unit. The serial number was all I was looking for so for my needs these were perfect and the price is very good. I would buy this product again if the need arises.
